Governance
Transparency, accountability, and doing things the right way.
Dixon Park SLSC is a volunteer-run, not-for-profit community organisation. We're accountable to our members, our community, and the people who trust us to keep Dixon Park Beach safe.
This page outlines how we're governed, the policies we follow, and how members can access key club documents.
How We're Run
The club is governed by a volunteer committee elected annually by members at the Annual General Meeting (AGM).
Our committee oversees club operations, including:
Patrols and beach safety
Training and education
Nippers and youth programs
Surf sports
Finance and facilities
Community programs and events
All committee members are volunteers who give their time because they believe in the club's mission: save lives, build community, serve the beach.
