Whether you want to volunteer as a lifesaver, enrol your child in Nippers, support the club, or just be part of the community, there's a membership for you.
Membership Types
Dixon Park SLSC is volunteer-run and not-for-profit. Membership fees fund beach patrols, lifesaving equipment, training programs, Nippers, club facilities, and the systems that keep our beach safe.
Everyone who joins—whether they're patrolling, volunteering behind the scenes, or supporting from the sidelines—helps keep Dixon Park strong.
Patrolling Memberships
For people who patrol the beach as volunteer lifesavers.
Active Member (18+): $100
Active Member (15-18): $60
Cadet (13-15, holds SRC): $60
Family Memberships (Nippers)
For families with children aged 5-13 enrolled in our junior surf program.
Patrolling Member - Nippers Family Pack: $275
Includes 2 adults + 2 Nippers. One parent must hold (or be working toward) Bronze Medallion or SRC and can patrol Dixon Park Beach in addition to Nippers duties. Additional Nippers: $85
Non-Patrolling Member - Nippers Family Pack: $350
Includes 2 adults + 2 Nippers. Parents assist with Nippers activities but don't patrol the beach. Bronze/SRC training costs are included in membership—we encourage all parents to complete training. Additional Nippers: $85
Individual Nipper Parent:
Active (holds Bronze/SRC): $100
Associate (no patrol commitment): $150
Non-Patrolling Memberships
For parents, partners, supporters, and volunteers who don't patrol.
Associate membership allows you to be part of the club community and contribute without patrol commitments. Many Associate members support Nippers, help with events, or volunteer in other club roles.
Associate Member: $150
Recognition Memberships
For members with distinguished service to the club.
Life Member: Free (exceptional long-term contribution and dedication)
Award Member: $100 (SLSA service or meritorious awards)
Long Service Member: $100 (15+ years of active patrolling service)
Reserve Active: $100 (qualified lifesavers maintaining patrol readiness)
Membership Add-Ons
Enhance your membership with access to club facilities:
Gym Access: +$100 per year
Boatshed Access: +$150 per year
Gym + Boatshed: +$250 per year

Memberships are managed through Surf Life Saving Australia's national membership system (SLS Hub).
